At Point Positive CPR, we believe that everyone should learn lifesaving CPR and First Aid skills. Whether you're learning CPR and First Aid for the first time, taking a Wilderness First Aid Course for your outdoors job, or recertifying your BLS card, we can help you acquire the knowledge you’re looking for in a fun, personalized, interactive learning environment.
Our flexibility allows us to teach courses in virtually any environment. Hold a course at your business, your home, a local meeting space or classroom. Teaching courses in the Portland, Eugene, Bend, McKenzie Bridge, and Columbia River Gorge areas.

Our Courses
At Point Positive CPR, we offer a variety of American Heart Association (AHA) and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) courses that are ideal for anyone who wants to acquire valuable life-saving skills.
These interactive, flexible courses are ideal for anyone, whether in the workplace or out in the community. We love to share our passion for life-saving skills and provide personalized instruction in a fun learning environment for everyone. We are able to teach in a variety of settings, can travel to your workplace, and can cater to your needs and environment.
Heartsaver® First Aid/ CPR/ AED
Combines Heartsaver® First Aid with Heartsaver® CPR/AED in one full-day course. Prepares students to provide CPR and use an AED in adults, children, and infants. In addition, prepares students to recognize and provide first aid in a variety of emergency situations.
This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
This course is ideal for: Anyone!
Wilderness First Aid
WFA is a 2 - Day course that prepares students to identify and address medical issues that can arise in remote outdoor settings. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures.
With an ASHI Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond when faced with limited resources, extended care settings, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course is for health professionals in both in-facility and prehospital settings.
The BLS course is for any healthcare provider or first-responder who needs to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
Heartsaver® CPR/AED
Prepares students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Features hands-on adult and infant CPR AED training, and includes optional child CPR.

Heartsaver® First Aid
Prepares students to provide first aid in a variety of injury and other emergency situations
Anyone with little or no medical training who needs a First Aid course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or who simply wants to be prepared to respond to emergencies with appropriate first aid.
This is the ideal course for: Anyone!
Especially for camp counselors, day-care providers, parents, babysitters, teachers and school staff, construction contractors, tour guides, servers, girl scouts, and boy scouts.
Hands-On Skills Session
Complete the course online, then practice your skills with an instructor to get your certification card.
American Heart Association courses such as CPR or BLS, students must complete a hands-on session to obtain a course completion card.
The hands-on skills practice and testing session are conducted in-person with a Point Positive AHA Instructor.
Child and Babysitting Safety
This course is for young adults who are looking to start babysitting.
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, and key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips.
This is the ideal course for:
Teens and young adults interested in babysitting, or who have responsibility for younger family members.
Community First Aid and CPR Training
This AHA Heartsaver course is offered to the McKenzie River community at the Upper McKenzie Community Center in partnership with the McKenzie River Community School.
Prepares students to provide CPR and use an AED in adults, children, and infants. In addition, prepares students to recognize and provide first aid in a variety of emergency situations.
