Heartsaver® First Aid

Prepares students to provide first aid in a variety of injury and other emergency situations

Anyone with little or no medical training who needs a First Aid course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or who simply wants to be prepared to respond to emergencies with appropriate first aid.

Concepts and skills covered in this course include:

• First aid basics

• Illnesses and medical emergencies- including stroke, seizure, and allergic reactions

• External and internal bleeding

• Head and spinal injuries

• Broken bones, sprains, and burns.

This is the ideal course for:

Camp counselors, day-care providers, parents, babysitters, teachers and school staff, construction contractors, tour guides, girl scouts, and boy scouts.

Classroom time approximately 3 1/2 hours.

Course Price- $50

Upon completion, students receive an American Heart Association First Aid Certification e-card valid for 2 years.
